In September 2019, a task force to acquire a building for the Temple was established with ten members from the devotees of the Temple. The project team, commonly known as “Building Fund Task Force” is headed by Venerable Welagedara Sumanajothi Thero, a resident monk of IBF. The current President of the IBF, Venerable Halyale Wimalarathana Thero acts as the Liaison Officer bridging the Task Force and the Committee of IBF while Most Venerable Walpola Kalyanatissa Thero advises the Project Team as the Spiritual Director of IBF to achieve this vision within five years.
