Donation to IBF for day-to-day maintenance
Since the time of the Buddha, more than 2500 years ago, the tradition is to receive the teachings for free.
For the disciple, becoming generous is a very important practice to transform the self-centered attitude and to accumulate positive energy, in order to reach the state of Enlightenment.
According to that tradition, IBF works with the contribution of the benefactors and the help of the community. The help is of course financial, but it comes also in many different ways: Bringing food to the monks, organizing events, taking care of the necessities for the monks and guests, etc.
Anyway, using the teachings to transform our minds and becoming loving, compassionate, and peaceful, to become a better human being is the best gift to humanity and to the tradition!
It is over 30 years that IBF is working in Geneva, thanks to the help of all the community. We want to express here our deep gratitude to all the members and benefactors who make it possible since the beginning!
